La Paz nuts place,
To be honest there is nothing prepares you for arriving in La Paz, its a crazy place of colour, noise, great people and bad smells!
Arrived in La Paz on 18th via previously stated ´exciting´ bus trip. Managed to find a hotel hidden cunningly by market stalls and women in bowler hats. Spent a few days relaxing visited the Tiwanaku ruins with the worlds most intense tour guide, cathedrals and witches market (llama foetus´, dried s*** of some sort and tat, plenty of tat) and managed to get laundry done at last after 3 weeks of right side, inside, outside upside recycling! Also managed to incasize ourselves with some very fashionable woolies.
Met some cool english guys (Sid & Lucy) who we seemed to follow withsome slapstick wheres wally style tourism and long range peekaboo. Managed our latest night out arriving home just before midnight avoiding spitting tramps and rabid dogs.
Planned our Bolivia farewell witha bustrip to Copacabana on theshores of Lake Titicaca.
