Today I am packing for my trip to Europe. I will be going to a total of five countries. i will be traveling by bus train airplane and car. First I am going to Austria. This country is one of the most mountainous in all of Europe. The mountains names are the Alps and the highest of them range from 10,380 feet to 18,990 feet. This height of these mountains is much taller than at home, thus making austria a great place to hike and ski. The tops of these great features are extremely cold which means the towns will be too, so i don't think i will be packing summer gear.
As the seasons near winter Austria becomes much colder ranging from 4 degrees to 32 degrees on a regular basis. I will be packing warm garments for outdoor conditions especially if i want to hike some of the mountains or go to a ski resort. Items such as a down jacket, long under wear or under armor, a nit hat, sweaters, gloves, boots, cotton socks, snow pants or warm sweats. I may also want something nice to wear like a suit for dinners.
After Austria I am going to norway, another very cold country especially durring the winter it averages from about 20 degrees to 30 degrees in winter. In southern norway daylight lasts from 5-6 hours each day there for the sun is not out making everything extreamely cold. Nothern norway doesn't even get sunlight. Due to this i will be packing many layers so i can stay warm. Similar to Austria i will pack a jacket, hats, gloves, scarves, sweaters, long socks, under armor and pants.
After being in Norway i am going to Spain. Spain is much closer to the equater so generly it is much warmer. It is sunny most every day outside of the winter. Unfortunally i am going to be there durring winter, the only cold time. Although it is cold it is much warmer than norway with tempaures ranging from 43 degrees to 57 degrees farinhiet. It still snows in spain every now and then so i will pack some lighter clothes but still things that could keep me warm. Items such as a coat, jeans, sweats, sweaters, hats, gloves, snow boots, possibly a t-shirt, and snow pants.
Now i am going to croatia, a rather warm country also almost excatly like Spain. Croatia generally averages from 41 degrees to 57 degrees farinheit, pretty nice for the winter time. But it all depends on where you are in Croatia because the closer to the Adratic sea the warmer it gets. since croatia is so close to the equator this is not unusal. I will be packing same things i packed for spain, such as hats gloves snow boots jacket sweater, jeans sweats, maybe shorts and a t shirt but unless it is really nice i doubt i would wear them
Ater i am in Croatia i am going to be in bulgaria. Bulgaria has a very similar climate as croatia because they are about the same distance away from each other and to the equator. the next weeks that i am going to be there the tempature ranges from 27 degrees to 50 degrees farenhite. The winters are much colder so i am going to pack warm clothes just like for croatia. Jackets, hats gloves pants shirts long sleve boots shoes sweaters and some shorts maybe.
