We went by the Metro (underground rail) to the Charles de Gaule station that is under the Arc de Triomphe to start our open top bus tour. We all marvelled at the many beautiful ancient buildings with the typically French styled architecture, staying on the bus until we arrived at Notre Dame, where we decided to get off to see this beautiful old church. Back on the tour bus to finish off the trip around the city of Paris and return to the Arc de Triomphe, then back to our hotel for a bit of rest before venturing out for dinner.

We caught the train back to the Eiffel Tower to see the tower all lit up at night, just as we got there it started to flash and twinkle in the clear night sky as it does on the hour for 5 minutes each night.
Home to bed - another beautiful exhausting day, the weather has been lovely, clear blue sunny skies about 16c.
