Another Blog in the one day... cerazzy!!

Had an odd day! Managed to lock myself out of my room with the key in my hand this morning! After an hour of sunbathing and a little prayer my key finally decided to do its job!

Spent the morning with April (mission co-ordinator) hearing about the mission opportunities in Jaco which was excited! Also met a crazy surfer man, american and dad of 4 named Scott! He would win the enthusiasm award hands down!

He tried helping me get a bike, we met him at the surf shop and the smoothie store! Think he is a stalking us!

Bought a bike, planned some trips, started a smoothie contest, organised Spanish speaking lessons... the lot

Random: I keep thinking someone is taking control of my laptop by their phone as my mouse goes crazy every so often. This confused me until I realised it is just a fly being a nuisance!... Anyway

My first surf in Costa Rica didn't go quite so well! Over estimated my abilities and got a board that was far far far to short and although the water was warm the beating I took was unpleasant! Being me a bad day surf when I am stuck here for 7 weeks wasn't the greatest thing... hello not so good mood! But all of a sudden Ethan came across my path! A 21 year old American tico look alike who is far more like me than you could ever think! I was ready to hit bed at 6pm but 3 hours later Ethan and I were chatting away about life, god, our passions, relationships, law, changing the world and finding ourselves!

He's cool! Yippee I have made a friend who I can hang with for 3 weeks! This has made me happy again!

A bowl of cereal and bed is the plan! What will tomorrow bring? Hopefully a more successful surf :)
