Today we woke up and went downstairs of the hotel for a nice breakfast, after this we went back to our rooms and had some laundry done, not crazy exciting but had to be done. After waiting for laundry we took a cab to a cafe where we met up with some family who was our grandparents cousins I believe. At the cafe we had delicious hot chocolate and cake and then walked to the chocolate shop across the street that had awesome chocolate sculptures. These sculptures included, a big chocolates bear, a liquid chocolate volcano, the Brandenburg gate of chocolate, a chocolate plane, etc. we didn't buy anything and obviously didn't buy any of the sculptures but we then followed our German relatives and went to the train station where we took a train to our next destination. We got off the train and looked for a bratwurst stand and luckily found one. Most of us got currywurst, a bratwurst with a sauce and powder, which was delicious. Walking just down the street we crossed over and we're able to see the memorial those hurt or killed in the terror attack involving the truck around Christmas. We then went to the church that is right next to the memorial. This church is very cool because it has the damage from the bombings during ww2 and most of it was left un-repaired to show what happened during this time. After this we went to a fountain that we call the ABC family fountain and said goodbye to our family from Germany. We then realized we were all a bit hungry and found a doner stand and got doners which are kind of like "German Burritos" I guess. This was basically the end of our day, we walked back to the hotel and went to sleep to be ready for tomorrow's adventures.
