Today we woke up extra early in order to get a head start on our long drive to Berlin, we had stopped in Leipzig where my Oma/Grandma grew up, she spent her time here growing up during the war was clearly difficul. We also stopped in swikau, (could be spelled wrong), where she was born, we visited an old church there that was very beautiful and visiting these two cities was a neat experience. Now this is where things get... "weird", we arrived in Berlin and headed for our airbnb where we'd be staying. We booked ahead of time and photos of the place looked normal and nice. When we parked my sister and Dad got out to go check in. They came back saying that it seemed, "scetchy", little did we know we had booked a banned airbnb... after unloading and being shown inside we were surprised with the art inside. Each piece of art had a very unconventional look to it and it was all done by the keeper. Also he owned a bar that's was right below us, hooray. Anyway the art was strange ranging from the power puff girls flying over black Jesus to a hollowed out tv with a diorama of a man in a car driving past a deadly/bloody baby and a post with the numbers "666" on it. We were very uncomfortable with the place, and we all tried to ignore this art and we all went to bed. Hoping to be able to stand the place and not go insane.
