So I'm back after the previous two days not being able to post due to lack of internet so this post will be bigger updating on everything that I have done during those days. Saturday we drove to a city called Gyor which took around an hour and I sat in the back of a very cramped and small back seat. After arriving at Gyor we unpacked and rested for a little bit in our hotel before meeting up with my sisters other friend that she met on her LDS mission, we spent the day going to a castle where we took an audio tour and learned the history behind the castle. After this we visited the garden behind the castle and spent some time there and also getting ice-cream... very good ice-cream. We then went back to the car and drove to my sisters friend's house where we met her two cats and then made us a very tasty dinner, and then a very delicious dessert. We then went home for the night and got good sleep. The next day we woke up and got ready to go to church at the nearby church. Although I could not understand anything they said it was still a very cool experience. After church we talked with my sisters friends for a bit and then planned on meeting another one of her friends to spend the day with. We started that walk with getting ice-cream. Barbara, (my sisters friend), ate the ice-cream very fast. We then walked for a while just looking at the scenery and buildings until deciding to go to a castle/museum where we learned the very sad/cool history of what had happened. We learned that the surrounding town had been occupied by the soviets who took what they wanted and did what they wanted. The women and children were told to hide in the cellar where soviet soldiers tried to get them but were stopped by the priest who told the soldiers they could not have what they wanted. The soldiers being very drunk shot him three times and several shots into the ceiling. He died but he ended up protecting the children and women from the soldiers. This experience was very cool and humbling. After this we started back to the hotel and got pizza, which of course was delicious, once we got back we packed in preparation to head to Germany which we will go by train to Munich. After packing we went to sleep and woke up current day, we had time to go around for a little Andrew went to a market looking for souvenirs. We then boarded the train and that puts us here where I am now.
