Beautiful beaches in WA
Ben and I went to the beach on our own today which was nice. We headed for Burns Beach first, where we saw a newly wedded couple, and had a walk along the cliff top, but couldn't work out how to get to the beach! Eventually Ben drove a bit further, as we had Auntie Mag's car, and we found Ocean Reef beach, which was gorgeous. The beaches here are a lot less spoilt and touristy than on the east coast. We had a picnic and stayed at the beach for a few hours, and then stopped at a café on the way home for a drink.
In the evening we went into Joondalup where there was a festival happening, and we treated Fred and Margaret to dinner at the Old Bailey, an old pub with loads of character, and really good food! We then had a wander around the market stalls and Auntie Margaret bought me a pretty pair of earrings.
