The Day of the Buses!
We spent today finding our way around Hollywood, using quite a few buses along the way! We walked to the Beverley Center (for window shopping!), and then caught three buses to Hollywood Boulevard, managing to avoid most of the crazy people! Hollywood Boulevard was completely different to my expectations, and was just full of musicians trying to convince you they're the next P Diddy, and actors impersonating other famous actors to earn money in tips. The Chinese Theatre was impressive though, with all the handprints outside.
We took a hop-on-hop-off tour of the rest of Hollywood and parts of Rodeo Drive and Bel Air, which was a lot more interesting, and typically eccentric! In Beverley Hills each road has a different tree theme, and in Hollywood there is a cemetary just for famous people!
In the evening we went for a Chinese for dinner, and then to a party at the other hostel, which felt a bit like a hall party at university, except with a lot of international people. Everyone went to a club after, where we felt a bit like celebrities - everyone wanted to talk to us because of our English accents!
