Made an early start this morning to go over to Rotorua before heading back to Hamilton. First stop was the top of the hill to take some pictures of Lake Taupo. There was a cameraman from Wales Today filming there and he tried to persuade us to do a Bungy Jump for him to film. We all declined so he just filmed us driving off in the van instead ( I told him that can be just as scary as any bungy jump with Nick at the wheel!) Next stop Huka Falls. Got out of the van and started walking to the falls, when we look back the cameraman was following us(at this point you could see the crowd of tourists looking puzzled as too who we were as we must obviously be famous with a camera crew following us!) Gave him a few exclusive interviews and some action shots of us walking around the falls and before setting off. Fortunately we lost the paps by the time we got to Rotorua. Realised we were close to the town about 5 miles away when the smell of sulphur started permeating the van! Went to see a Maori Culture show which was really good fo llowed by a visit to the mud pools and geezers. Headed back to Chris house in time to watch some rugby.
