On board the bullet train (another thing ticked off the bucket list for a train geek!) watching the teams clean the trains is like a military operation. The red coats run on, clean everywhere, turn the seats around and all done within 5 minutes. Impressive!

To save on pennies we are off to Aomori before getting the sleeper to Sapporo, although we had a food fail this morning and had a double sausage egg mcmuffin! In our defence we have been up since 5am as it was the only way we could ensure we managed to fit on the metro, more on that later on. In our defence part 2 fish and rice for breakfast is nice now and then, but not daily.

Only strange thing so far is the lack of wifi everywhere, hopefully at some point we will be able to publish the blogs!
