Hello folks!!
Good morning! We stayed at Rurrenabaque Hostel for a night and it was so beautiful. We loved the view from rooftop this morning with sightings of small mountains full of trees and fog! We ate the provided breakfast like scrambled eggs, bread, jelly, butter, and homemade orange juice and it was delicious! After that, we were getting ready to go to the Madidi Jungle; how do we get there??
We rode on a boat for four hours to get to the jungle and it started raining hard at times! We wore raincoat or poncho to keep us warm and dry! It was a long trip to the Madidi Jungle; some of us were sleeping or chatting. The river, Beni, we rode on was from one of long root river from Amazon River. We saw some of animals like Great Black Hawk, Wood Stork, caponata, baby alligator, black vulture, black coati, Red and Green Marrows. Also, the river was murky, brown and dirty!
After four hours of boating, we finally arrived to the Madidi Jungle. The first thing we did when we arrived was eating our lunch and it tasted kinda strange. After that, we went hiking through the jungle with two tour guides! We hiked for about 3 hours, and we saw some of spiders, insects, butterflies, birds, mother caponata and her babies, ants, and lots of Mother Nature. It was very beautiful to hike through! We saw some things from natural like a tree roots that are able to produce red dye and a plant for eye drops, needle for sew, shave, and more. And one exotic thing we saw was a mushroom that feels like your ear! We were worn out after long hiking then rest for about two hours, some kids play card game and some of them took nap.
Dinner was coming up and it was good. We were served chicken, potatoes, carrots, soup, and more. After dinner finished, we went hiking again for the night hike for about one hour and we saw the most rare beautiful green snake, which is called tree boa emerald! Also others insects like spiders, millipede, bullet ants, and many more! And finally we're out of jungle and feel safer in our rooms!!
