Tom here. We did change hostels, and my god are we glad of it!!! Our new one is just off The Peoples Square right where all the posh hotels are and the sky scraperes. Really nice hostel with pool table, nice bar nice rooms, and card scan entry to rooms. Beds arnt made of concrete either! Anyways, yesterday, after the mess we made of getting out of Xi'an, we decided to book a train to hong kong early, and qued up at the train station for like 2 hours only to realize we needed our passports. So we went back today (mercifully a shorter que), only to find that we cant get a train for another 10 days as they are all booked up! So we look at flying, but that costs 5 times the already expensive train ticket, and we simply cant afford it. So we think we are either stuck here for 10 days, or we get a train to somewhere near hong kong. We have a few ideas, but i wouldnt hold your breath. We have til the 8th of oct to get out of china, or i think we get fined and deported or something. Oh well! Catch you later guys! tom, joe and Jeff.
