Spend a gorgeous day on the beach on Koh Phi Phi Don, sunbathing and swimming. The water was so beautiful. You could walk out for about half a mile and it only cam up to you waist, impressive when u are only 5'2". Woke up at 5.30 ready to catch the early boat which left Koh Phangan at 7am. After squeezing on a little minibus we climbed up a few 'vertical' hills and across bumpy tracks to the ferry. Arrived in Samui after a short flight from Bangkok airport. Flying over the islands reminded me of the good old CIs (although) obviously with the whole trpoical paradise element!
