After a smooth boat ride we arrived in Koh Phangan - just like the herm ferry! It is much more laid back and quieter during the day which is nice. also far less middle aged men with young Thai girls which was starting to make me feel a bit sick. they sit there looking so bored and youknow they have really no interest in the old losers! Anyway, enuf ranting about that.
Forgot to mention in my last post that I have seen my first guern of my travels. Well 2 now actually - such a small world. as we were getting out taxi from samui airport we stopped to let people cross the road, and Luke Gallienne was one of them! He had been there with Jess and Matt. The second guy is from Guernsey but doesnt live there now. JIm Le Gallez if anyone knows him. Had a real laugh with him and his mates who were staying in our place- the coral. Awesome place to stay for anyone going to phangan by the way. Chilled out in our bar then headed out into Haad Rin for the most crazy night so far. can't really explain it if youhave never been but was definately a highlight of the trip. Met so many great people who we hope to meet up with later on our travels.
I literally danced until my flip flop broke - gutted - now only have 1 pair of shoes! but carried on regardless dancing on the sand and then had to walk the 20 min dirt track road bare foot at 5.30 this morning! My feet are now super hard core and have been re-named Jane of the jungle!
Spent a gorgeous day relaxing by the pool and beach which is stunning. Was a good job that we decided to travel here yesterday as it didn't waste nice weather. Tan is now coming on very well - sorry Ann nd Abs!! Waatched the sunset this evening over Haad Rin bay and just going out for food feel im ready for thai again! We are off to Krabi on the west coast tomorrow which will be a long trip. Could stay in phangan forever but looking forward to koh phi phi.
Hope everyone is ok at home and enjoying the build up to xmas! love u all and miss u lots! xxxx
