Left Bangkok today and let me tell you 3 days is enough. It had started to do our heads in - although I loved it. The night markets were amazing with a huge food court to try loads of different Thai foods. There were so many stalls selling dirt cheap things so natually we had to do a bit of shopping!

We then got a tuk tuk to take us to a ping pong show. Was gutted to learn that this didnt involve naked table tennis - Pez and Dan - although think these girls would have given you a run for your money. I'll leave it to your imagination but this involved girls, balloons, ping pong balls, bottle opening - you get the picture. Parn u would have loved it!

Got back to Khaosan and woke up ready for an early start at the Grand Palace. Don't listen to Thai's who tell you it isnt open - they just want to take u somewhere else! The palace was amazing and we saw the Emerald Buddha and the kings guards etc. The pictures dont do it justice.

Oh, forgot to mention we also saw the king (after all you joking Dad!). The whole street was closed off and music played etc. They love the guy!

Got the afternoon flight to Samui which was very painless and found ouerselves a little beach hut. Pretty basic but a bargin!!! Will be sure to write about our adventures here soon and post siome pics - that really will make you jealous!
