Shawn was leaving for Tanzania today, so we went to town for lunch and took photos of Will and Shawn in their naughty retro tracksuit attire before saying goodbye to the Swiss Jesus (Shawn).
In the afternoon, we played yet more pool and cards as the weather was crap again but we still managed a quick dip in the pool. Into the evening, we got chatting to an English girl who was at Nkhata Bay in Mayoko with us and also a Canadian guy who I challenged at pool. After my poor form, I went on a 7-game winning run, defeating those two, Will and Jack. In the end me and Will drew 4-4 after me being embarrassingly 4-1 behind!
Spent the night getting tipsy on Carlsberg again (sick of it now) and continued challenging people at pool.
There were still loads of American Christian Missionaries at the camp, so we challenged some of them to a game. It was the funniest game of pool I've ever played. They are so ridiculous with their rules!
I teamed up with one of the Scots and we demolished them (a guy and a girl) by 6 balls (despite them doing me and Will over). The thing was, both teams stuck to their own rules. For example, they reckon that when you pot the white it was only one shot to the others! They even had some name for it like a sinker! If that wasn't enough, they came up with some bullsh*t that you can hit the black onto one of your balls and pot your ball without fouling by calling some name! We were literally in stitches, actually felt a bit sorry for them because they were deadly serious yet these American rules were loco! To top it off, I made a decent shot potting my ball onto another and they called it a foul because I didn't make the call and say the word (which I can't remember annoyingly!) so that it was a legitimate shot.
We tried some filthy cocktails and played cards with the Canadian and a Northern Irish girl and I got stitched again having to skinny dip in the pool for losing and asking the American Missionaries for big hugs. Embarrassing. Jack and Will tried to steal my shorts whilst I was in the pool, good job I saw that coming....I'll remember that one Jacko!
There was loads of good music on in the reception/bar and we messed around playing with some drums before hitting the hay late....
