Moved down the beach after a little bit of cheap hotel hunting and saving ourselves 50 each a night. Nicer place too with half a sea view and a nice first floor balcony.
Pigged out on food to accommodate for yesterday's lack of. Tuna sandwiches, pasta, chicken and chips. Yum yum.
Enjoyed the crazy waves and the not-so-stunning black/yellow sandy beaches. Bumped into two Danish lads we met in Anjuna before a cracking thunderstorm forced us to take shelter in a posh bar. Monsoon season was just beginning.
Chris and I trotted down to the next beach, Hawah, where a group of Indian lads were playing football in nets! Surprising how it's actually quite popular and there was no way I was going to miss this opportunity. We pretty much bossed the show, in fact, on judging them on their merit, it would be fair to say that it's not surprising why a country with such a big population still has a poor national team. These boys were shocking. Nonetheless, it was a good workout and we swilled off in the ocean. Play ended abruptly and I was told my team lost by two. Don't know how that happened as we weren't part of 58 goals (apparently 30-28 lol).
Chris had an outrageous and cheap plate of seafood for tea whilst we hung out with the Danish lads. Pretty boring though and we've had the worst of luck with Danes. All the ones we met and hung with in India didn't want to do much, all so boring! They can't all be like that! A cheeky beer was in order before watching Prem highlights with my sound hotel receptionist and Chris' Marry-Joanna.
Talking to some Swedes, conversation went a bit bland and Chris in his stoned trance abruptly shouted 'goodnight!' and I couldn't hold back from laughing. Poor guy....
