Hey guys! Just thought I would do a quick update here in Adelaide. Nothing major to report though! Had no problems with bloody customs/quarantine coming from the NT down to South Australia - which was nice! I am staying in a big YHA in the middle of Adelaide. It has got massive kitchen area so I have been inspired to actually cook for the past few days. As I went shopping without any planning, my menu is a bit dull: pasta seems to have a central theme to every meal! But I am planning to spice things up tonight with with a bit of chicken! Go me! Oh yes, after Stef + Jamie's recommendation, I have now become addicted to Tim-Tams! YUM YUM! I have managed to catch most of the World Cup so far. Watching the opening ceremony with some German's was a laugh. They assured us that only a small minority of German's actually prance around in lederhosen with big bells attached to there waste! They were not impressed and I think I detected the odd German swear word being thrown in! Adelaide is a pretty small city and is rather quiet by Australian standards - as two Oz lads in my dorm pointed out. It has been made worse by the fact that it is a holiday weekend. They have today (Monday) off for the Queen's birthday so most places are shut. However, I hope to go and do some proper sightseeing tomorrow before heading off to Melbourne on Wednesday. Well I have got to go. My washing should be done soon. Yes, that's right! I have done some washing!!! All the best, TOM x
