We got up about 10 this morning and checked the 3 service stations on the off chance that there might be some diesel somewhere, which of course there wasnt! So we spent the day by the pool in the blistering heat, high 30s, of Halls Creek. Mark, Fionn and myself went and got fuel at about 3 o'clock but it was too late to go anywhere at that stage. Did a bit of food shopping to see us through to Broome then back to the pool to finish my book. We didnt go to the bar in the end last night so we're defo gonna go for a drink or two tonight. We're going to try to push all the way to Broome tomorrow (800km) so a long, hot, day in the van ahead for all of us!

##I finished Branson today, well worth a read. I imagine that as an autobiography its obviously quite biased but it appears a quite honest account of his life and a really facinating read##
