Took our time getting up this morning. I slept like a baby; I was wrecked after staring at an empty, endless road of red desert dirt all yesterday. We went to Ivanhoe Crossing for breakfast and did a bit of fishing with out newly acquired handline, we didn't catch anything but the place was beautiful and the sun was shining (see pics). We set off driving for Hall's Creek, 400 km away, at about midday with Fionn in the captain's seat and we got here in time to have a swim in the camp site pool. Amazingly the WHOLE s***ty town is out of diesel and we only have half a tank left to bring us the 300 kmto the next fuel stop so with the delivery not being due until late tomorrow it looks like we'll be stuck here until Wednesday morning. Hall's Creek seems to be almost exclusively an aboriginal town and all they seem to do is shout across the street at one another! We're planning on going to the local bar for a few tonight, seen as we won't be going anywhere tomorrow so we'll wait and see what the night has in store…..*********I've been travelling a month today, seems like a long time ago that I was stuck in that a******* of an airport LAX!!***********
