Today we arrived at BLES we was picked up for our journey here by Fah and met Katherine with her gorgeous son Aaron in a quaint little coffee shop as the Internet was down at BLES so she was catching up on her emails. As soon as we met Katherine it was like meeting an old friend and also met another guest at BLES, Mags. We went of BLES whilst Katherine picked up Hope and Noah from school. Fah took us to our quantity little cabin and we just left our bags and was so excited about seeing the elephants. Sitting on the breakfast deck our first greeting was from Lotus and Pan Dow. We were then treated to walk with these wonderful elephants with Fah and Mags and about 3 dogs. Along the way we were met with elephants, the great thing was if you saw a Mahot you knew another elephant was in site. It started to rain so we all took shelter by climbing up into a tree house this gave us a fascinating view over the vast area of BLES. After the rain stopped we continued our walk, we heard som rustling in the long grass and Fah advised us to stand back, we was in total awe that not one but 3 elephants came out from the grass it was just so exciting. So we walked along following 5 elephants big bottoms. Fortunately nothing came out of them whilst we was walking, although I think I remember Lotus was making some strange noises not sure if it was from her ears flapping or if she had wind. We then made our way back to the deck and a truck came down the hill, Kat arrived with the children. I was fascinated that these two children were greeted by elephants when they came home from school, that is not something you see everyday, they were completely unphased by the fact that two big elephants were there by the truck as they stepped out. Noah and Hope got changed out of there uniforms and were in the house I went to see if I could help and Aaron had just a bath, Kat wanted a shower so in offered to hold Aaron, only because I wanted a cuddle. He was just adorable so I walked the children down the deck where Lee and Fah were sitting. We then met Anon, Kat's husband, Fah was playing on his guitar and Hope and Noah were dancing around the deck it was just magical, elephants, cats, dogs, children a baby and adults all enjoying this time of the evening. After having dinner at the house we just sat and chatted for ages like old friends while Lee spent ages with Hope and Noah even reading to them something he hasn't done for a long time. We then retired to our cabin followed by 3 dogs and 2 cats who sat contentedly outside our cabin. One cat was so funny she really wanted to come in and miaowed outside for ages then frighted the life out of me and Lee in bed by jumping onto the mosquito net and climbing up the window. We woke up the next morning she was curled up on the seat next to another cat really cute. The end of a truly magical day.
