this is a nice place. we extended our stay here to 3 nights after our first day - it just had a really good feel. the beaches are beautiful and lie in front of a huge national park.

we spent our first day just lying on the beach soaking up the sun and body boarding - happy days! we had then arranged to meet up with hayleys friends lou and sarah so they picked us up in their campervan and we went over to there camp site to cook an open bbq! spent the night the playin uno and drinkin 'goon' (some really cheap wine..hayley loves it!) its about 4 quid for 4 litres.

second day followed much as the same...again on the beach soaking up the rays.

we then took a day to visit the australia zoo (formerly the home of the crocodile hunter!) this was wicked - check out the photies. we watched live crocodile shows, fed and walked with kangaroos, elephants and koalas and the tigers were amazing.

caught the bus back to the hostel in the evening  and chilled out..we were knackered.

tomorrow we are heading up to hervey bay - we've booked a three day 4x4 safari on fraser island (the worlds largest sand island) so really looking forward to this.
