well we thought we needed to take a few more days out to chill so took a ferry over to another small island just off the north eastern coast. had hoped to do a bit of horseriding and jet skiing but the weather turned windy so waterspors closed...nevermind! maybe just have to do it in new zealand and fiji (tough decisions we know!). 

anyway, managed to take time out to chill by the pool on our sea view decking and soak up the sun. second day we took a visit to koala village, really cool here - got to hold a croc, snake and koala (check out the pics). our ranger also took us on a bush walk, saw loads of wild butterfly's, bats, cookaburras and even a few spiders (don't worry rose have posted no pics). there was even an oppurtunity to lick the ass of a big green ant - supposedly a good source of vitamin c... however we declined!

had some really good nights here, first night the worst rendition of blind date you have ever seen - rose you would have loved it! still a good laugh tho. then we went out the second night to watch toad racing, people betting over $100 on a toad to jump out of a circle the quickest - mad but really funny!!! and last night we unfortunately witnessed 'dress a boy' competition - not pretty as the lads had to lap dance wearing dresses and thongs. all good fun tho

anyway, adding another leg to our journey as we head for mission beach. taking a day out to go white water rafting down the tully river - a little apprehensive but should be good fun!
