First full day on the island.

We woke up just before the served breakfast at nine and then spent all day in and out of the sea. It was pretty blissful

Didn't feel like any lunch so we just had a virgin cocktail each to tide us over till dinner.

Baking hot sunshine all day until sun set at six.

We had dinner on the beach again watching the crabs run up and down the beach.

The meals here are really well done and really fast. They give you plenty of food. They take your order and often embellish it slightly.

There isn't really much you can do after dark on the island. We spent the night on the porch with a couple of Changs talking, laughing, playing games, listening to the dreadful music on Ross' phone doing stupid dances for each other by porch light (yeah we are a pretty odd couple).

It's pure escapism here. No mobile phone reception no tv or radios and no wifi (we did actually check). Being somewhere like this feels like it's pretty rare. Switching off feels liberating.
