So. Update thus far....

Just arrived at our airport hotel for a one night stay before we start out holiday proper. Rather surprisingly the most hellish part of the whole 6000 miles we have just traveled was the taxi from our little flat to the train station some ten minutes down the road.

Everything else about the trip was perfect. The 11 hour flight was do-able due to it being night flight. I got two hours sleep, watched Harry potter and some romantic comedy with Ryan gosling. Spent the rest of the time stabbing Ross with a biro which let me tell you is hilariously funny. Then I felt guilty about stabbing Ross with the biro so I made it up to him by making the woollen sheep head on my bed shocks rap ill judged jokes about lamb based meet dishes.
