Beer Tour and Rugby
Today is the day we have all been waiting for...All Blacks vs England. Everyone in the camp site is getting ready for the game....it's gonna be gooooddddd!
We grab a taxi into town as we have missed the bus and head to mac's bar for breakfast, the guys get straight on the beers but I start the day with an OJ. A big fried breakfast was just what we all needed, we then make our way to the train station for a photo op (purchasing an England scarf for Kym on the way) and then head to the Speight's brewery for our tour....which was really good especially the end part where we got to sample and pour our own beers, just to get us started! We were only allowed 6 glasses, but we poured about 10...
Heading back to the octagon the atmosphere was electric so we grabbed a table had a few more pre game beers with pizza and chicken wings then it was off to the game....and what a game was. The Haka was brilliant. The crowd went wild, we had the best seats to watch it. We cheered on England with everything we had much to the distain of the All Black fans surrounding us, loosing our voices in the process. A last minute try caused us to leave on a high only 1 point down. A great result as everyone said we would get slaughtered.
Feeling elated we headed back to the octagon and had a few drinks whilst we danced to some live bands until early hours. Mark was pumping out some classic moves.
