Normal Kradan routine, although we detected some guests were suffering from island fever. The tides were very high, so I had to wade to the Tenko resort to fetch water. Another morning of swimming in the turquoise water, reading, playing backgammon and snoozing.

At times like this on our trio we amused ourselves by inventing nick-names for other guests. Our favourites so far:

1. Hair ball (girl with bad afro)

2. Scar-tit(needed a better plastic surgeon)

3. Smug retireds (generic term for most people traveling in NZ)

4. Tat-gut (must have got the ink done when a bit slimmer)

5. Blubber boy

6. Ute and Schnute (young, very blond Scandinavians)

Rain set in at 330pm, a bit later then normal. More DVDs…..

Dinner. Bed.
