The sun never shone today. Before we had finished breakfast the daily monsoon started…..

We checked out and the lads at Seven Seas carried our bags to the Anantara beach house which was 2 resorts along the beach from 7 Seas. I was soaked by the time we arrived. Hung around for a couple of hours before the wind died down a bit.

Jumped on the speedboat transfer to Anantara resort. The chef hanging on the stern was a most amusing sight….

Checked in to a proper hotel with solid roofs, enclosed bathroom, customer service and sun loungers (no more early towel starts for me). Settled in and soaked in a hot bath watching the Malaysian GP. It was tipping it down in Kuala Lumpur too.

Headed down to happy hour in the beach house. Had a nice bottle of Malbec and played connect 4. I lost badly (10-1). We shunned the Thai buffet and opted for the Italian for a change. Food was exquisite, and the giggly service very endearing.

Back in the room, another Movie and a half before crashing
