I finally found a trip organizer who had a friend with a pick up who would do it for 1500baht.…..

I coasted back, mission accomplished, and took in the sights: lots of Thais eating on groups, or just chilling out admiring the view. I cycled down a couple of backstreets and over a bridge to get a full appreciation of the size of the swamp. No wonder there were so many mosquitoes.

That night we shunned the thai buffet and went back to the Italian after sundowners.
