7 seas #2
Many of our fellow guests were our central European cousins, hence by the time we had finished breakfast there wasn't much left in the way of free loungers or prime shaded beach space. I nabbed the last two bar beds and chucked as the new arrivals and late starters pitched up and struggled…..
A-lo and I swam out to the reef and snorkeled: saw lots of fish and coral although the giant sea urchins with an alien eye were quite unnerving. For lunch we checked out the resort next nut one. Very tasty at 25% of7 Seas price. We had discussed the eating options with a few other guests and reported back that the furthest alternative was okay.
That afternoon the weather followed its normal pattern. Clouds brewed over the mainland from noon and drifted over to Koh Kradan by 2. Strangely no rain today, but we retired to the room anyway….
Emerged for dinner and waited an hour for dinner. The owner approached us after main course. Her was born Thai but had been packed off to a top boarding school and as a result had a plumy accent and loved the English. He moaned that there were too many German guests and asked what he should do to attract more Brits and Italians. Didn't really listen to us though but gave me a free ice cream.
Bed at 930.
