Everyone was up early and off to Starbucks, where they screwed up everyone's drink, except Logan's. Then Gary went to have breakfast with his old boss while Jayme and the kids headed out to breakfast. When we all met back up, my breakfast went well and their's was not so good but they had made a pit stop at FAO Schwarz. The next decision was not the best either... we let Logan decide the schedule.
Into the park to climb rocks and find Balto, but we could only stay for 31 minutes. After the park we headed down 5th towards Rockefeller Center. Logan enjoyed checking out the Lego store and we took a few pictures but nobody was really into doing the NBC Tour, store or Top of the Rock. So we tured our attention to St. Peter's Cathedral. It is covered in scafolding as it is undergoing a major renovation.
St. Peter's was followed by a bit of shopping and then a pit stop at the hotel to drop off some stuff and catch our breath. We left the hotel and hopped into a cab headed to the Flatiron. Along the way we saw the NY Public Library with the big lions out front. Once in the Flatiron we made a b-line for Eataly. Jayme was so happy. Ciara was bitter there was no Coke but enojyed her meal and her gelato. Logan just wanted to get back to play with his toys. We hopped on the Subway back uptown and Ciara and Logan headed out for the Alice in Wonderland statue in the park while Jayme and I went for a couples massage. Our massage place sure did feel like they offered happy endings and when we were done they told us we could "have the room for 5 minutes."
As Eataly was a "late lunchy/early dinner" (a concept lost on Logan), Jayme and I went to Delmonico's to get some nosh for us all to enjoy while we began the impossible task of fitting everything back into the same suitcases!
