We left our hostel in drumnadochit at around 10am today after a rubbish breakfast consisting of cornflakes with minimal milk. Great way to start the day.
Our cycle started with a beautiful run along side Loch Ness, we were looking for Nessie all the way don't worry! But no luck there. We travelled down the a82 for about 20 miles and decided to take a lunch stop as the corn flakes had all been burnt off by then! Fort William is a great place with a set of river locks. We watched a oat go through the locks then took a seat in a cafe around the corner for a huge burger and chips!!
Nothing much interesting happened in the afternoon just following the same road to Glen Coe. By the time we reached the village it was around 6 pm. We weren't sure of where the hostel was so I asked a "local" and he sent us on our way. He explained the hostel was around a mile away down the road.. It wasn't. He had actually sent us down the wrong road for about 5 miles. So after cycling back again we found the correct road and finally made it to the hostel for around 7pm!
Another pub dinner of fish and chips and then straight to bed!
