Brisbane. Brisbane was really cool I liked it. We stayed in a hostel called X base or Palace, we managed to get upgraded which was nice and we were in the 'sanctory' which is a girls only dorm that is clean which is nice plus we have a massive TV. On our first day there we just had an explore we probably walked for about 5 hours and saw the sights of Brisbane.We walked along the river to the Streets Beach, through the parks along to the Botanical gardens ...

We have been in surfers paradise for 5 nights now, it has been lots of fun. We did a bar crawl for Rob's birthday on Saturday and got it at an amnmazing price with lots of free drinks. Before the crawl we went to Rob and Kerry's condo with birthday doughnuts and pizza. We headed out for the bar crawl at 5... it was stupidly early but hey it was fun. I am currently in Surfers Paradise and it seems a pretty cool place. Its very different from Byron Bay which I loved, it was soo chilled there. On Monday night me and lillie were planning on having a quiet night in as there were lots of tropical storms but at about 7 /8 ish we got some new room mates, it was 4 lads from Wales. They were reallly funny and managed to persuade us to go out to cheekie monkeys, a crazy busy club in Byron. We played lots of drink...

So I am now in Byron Bay, its really nice here. It feels more holiday-y. We are staying at a hostel called Holiday Village Backpakers and its really nice yet expensive. We are not staying in dorms here, its self contained appartments between 8 of us, 4 in each bedroom. We have a TV room, private bathroom and kitchen which makes it tons easier for cooking although we still only have a hob which is a pain!! We went to Newcastle a few days ago to a place call...

So my last few days have been quite eventful. At soundwaves we met a really cool guy from Luke. We exchanged numbers and then we met up with him in St Kilda's. He showed us around St Kila's we went for a long walk on the pier and onto Luna Park followed by Acland Street where he treated us to the best roast ever!
