Getting into the Argentinian lifestyle, it was time for late afternoon coffee and pastries. Of to the famous Cafe Tortoni which has been there for 150 years and is the favourite of many of the capital's most succesfull writers. As it was raining throughout the day we were dressed in waterproof jacket and trousers, in other words we looked ghetto. Here's me thinking it's just an ordinary cafe and we get to the place with huge grand doors, gold writing, a doorman who greets you. For a minute we thought we would be refused entry, but luckily they seated us!
The cafe inside is gorgeous with mirrored golden walls which had portraits and pieces of different artists work. Waiters are smartly dressed in black tie attire. It was absolutely packed, as we left people where queing to enter!
Leo's realised hanging with us girls is very expensive! We still haven't got the hand of budget backpacking. Oh well we still managed to twist her arm into coming out to Crowbar and Pacha!
Quote of the day:
'ah chene bow long route che'
'Eddie's hat'
