Guys, just a quick one this time. I promised to upload some pics from our fancy company-sponsored dinner a few weeks back and also from the Jägermeister Rocksnow party, which took place the following day. That mission has now been accomplished. I also bought some flowers and a bottle of wine for our neighbors...perhaps that will make them think better of us in the future. After all, alcohol IS the cause of and the solution to all of your problems.
Both of the above mentioned events were part of the two-day frenzy called Suntory Roadshow, which is an annual thing for the organization. This is the time when everyone from all over Australia (working for Suntory) gets together in Sydney (Intercontinental), listen to endless presentations by marketing, finance and god knows what-managers and at the end of the day, drink and party hard. So it's both educational and motivational...and very expensive for the organization of course. I think I covered most of this in my earlier entry, so there's no great need to get into that again. Check the pics...
How's life? Good, thanks for asking. Now I'm really in the middle of a horrible assignment-reel. The worst one is (hopefully) done by next tuesday, but that's really just the beginning. However, I am already looking forward to the early November when I can enjoy the Coogee warmth for the first time. One open-book exam on the exam week...awesome. Also a lot of visitors from all over! But...I will get back to that as time goes on. Work's good too, learning more every day and that makes it a whole lot more meaningful. For example, today we went to Prestons to do a stock-take at our 3PL service provider's premises. Real nice to see the people you correspond emails with and learn more about the procedures and the products in the process (=Booze brands)
So, in conclusion, busy busy but that's just fine. Time flies once again and I have also noticed that house parties are the way to go in the near future ;) Also, looking forward to the release of NHL10...among other things. Weather-wise it is getting a lot better in Sydney! Hardly any rain, temperatures are starting to reach 25 occasionally and it is not that dark anymore. Nice to experience a different kind of fall for once.
That's it folks. I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as there's something new and equally pointless to tell. Keep up the good work and post something on the message board as Bob has already declared its time of death. Prove him wrong, mates.
Cheers.
