We checked out of that 70's show this morning and tried to do a hike called lovers walk before leaving Montagu. We got about 200 meters of the 2.2 km walk and couldn't find the rest of the path so not only will we never be sailors now our hiking skills have also been called into question. Hopefully our navigation skills in the car are more successful. Thank god for sat navs.

We took route 62 heading for Oudtshoorn at a leisurely pace stopping off at a few little towns along the way picking up some souvenirs that we will probably never look at again.

Our accommodation here is FANTASTIC!! We have a little tree top cabin and everything is wood. The shower is a little tree with the shower head coming out the top and stones on the floor. We also have a fireplace which the guy has just come to light for us so tonight will be feet up sipping port (which came free in the room of course) in front of a fire.

As I'm writing I'm sitting on a couch on our sun drenched deck. Does life get any better than this?!

Tomorrow we are heading out to do the Cango Caves and some drive I can't remember the name of. Who cares the fire and port are calling.
