Hi got here lunchtimeish yesterday and checked into the hotel. Then had to completely empty the campervan - it actually didn't take us too long. Al took it back to the depot, we were sad to see it go! We then went to the National Antartic Centre just down the road, really interesting place we went into an Arctic storm room with real snow and ice! Me and the boys chickened out before the storm started but Al stayed in and it got down to -18 apparently! We also saw penguins and had a ride in a Haaglund vehicle - great fun. Civilised meal in the hotel, Al and I had a major re-packing marathon then sleep in a proper bed! Today we've been in the city - visited another aquarium, wandered round the city and took a tram to the museum. It's a very English-looking city with the river Avon running through it. We are now at the airport - the boys are on the ceiling and we're waiting for our flight to Auckland! - can't wait!! We then have to change planes at about 11pm tonight to get on our way to Hong Kong - it's going to be interesting and slightly tiring I'm guessing!
