We have arrived in Hong Kong - the journey was pretty lengthy especially as we got delayed on the tarmac in the plane at Auckland for and hour and half before we even took off! We all felt pretty exhausted by the time we got here at 7am although the boys had been amazingly good considering! We got a taxi straight to the hotel and luckily they let us check in to one of our rooms to freshen up. We had a huge breakfast into the hotel then ventured out. It's really humid here and foggy. We're right by the waterfront of Victoria Harbour so we wandered down to have a look - you could just about see across to Hong Kong Island but the visibility wasn't very good. We then wandered into to the city to find a park - really hectic city and the locals are absolutely fascinated by the boys, they keep wanting to take photos and talk to them which just leaves the boys speechless! We've had a few people wanting to take Joe home with them - we haven't given in yet!! Anyway the park was lovely it had a bird lake with flamingoes, terrapins and koi carp right in the middle of it and an aviary and of course the most important thing a childrens playground. They had a good run around but they were really starting to flag!! We were basically trying to kill time until a suitable bedtime without doing anything too strenuous! After lunch we headed down to the space museum and then gave in and headed back to the hotel - watched a DVD,had tea in the restaurant then all went to bed at 6.30! All had a great sleep and feeling refreshed after a mammoth breakfast so we're heading out to Ocean Park - an aquarium type theme park thing with pandas apparently, should be fun.
