So I figured it's about time I write a blog for Holland. After finishing the tour, I've now been staying at a relatives place in Sint-Odenrode for the last 3 weeks. It has been good to relax and pretty much do nothing, considering it's been go, go, go for the last 2 months. I've done a lot of catching up and getting to know the Dutch side of my family.
The first weekend I was here I went sailing. Even though it was a tad cold, it was still awesome fun! The next weekend I went iceskating. Luckily I didn't fall though :) We then played mini golf and Rob and Elisa took me to the Eftaling. The Eftaling is a theme park which is primarily for kids but still fun for adults as they have lots of roller coasters, etc. The next weekend I went to this indoor wave pool and that night we hit the town at a place called Strattum. It is a street in Eindhoven with about 50 odd bars all next to each other. It's quite handy having them altogether as you don't have to catch a taxi from place to place. I think we went to about 10 different bars and clubs that night. The next day we went to Maduradam. It is a mini replica of Holland where they have mini buildings, etc. It's hard to describe actually! Anyway I learnt quite a lot about the country. The Nederland's are actually one of the nicest countries I've seen. It's autumn at the moment and so every tree is yellow and orange and there are leaves everywhere! It's like nothing I've seen before!
