So, Tuesday morning I woke up early to get on the street car to Fishermans Wharf to collect my hired bike. I biked from San Francisco pier over Golden Gate Bridge and over to a little fishing town called Sausalito. The bike ride was 8 miles in total, but was amazing, so relaxing to ride a bike which I havent done in years! However I was aching slightly when I got off it.
Went to a little deli in Sausalito for lunch where I had a California Club baguette...hands down was the best sandwich I've ever had...and so much meat!!
Got the ferry back to San Fran then decided to walk up to Lombard Street (the crookedest street). Unfortunately it was a constant hill to get up there which knackered me out after my riding aswell, but great views from the top! I walked back to the hostel to shower then popped over to Chinatown to walk through all the sights. It was so bustling and vibrant, i always find Chinatowns really random as they just seem so different to the rest of the city.
At night, it was chill out time with the girls, and when I went to my room I actually spoke to my room mates, one lad was actually from Oxford. He gave me some good tips as he had already been to the places I was going to. I am a lot more shy than I thought I was and I need to remember that everyone is in the same boat.
