This morning I woke up and walked around the " city " a bit , grabbed some crappy breakfast, pinto and 1 egg and small toast. No more pinto for me, which is rice with beans , it's good but a over load is too much. Then at 11:30 I grabbed my stuff from jacarandas and brought it to casa verde and ended up randomly getting the room next to Laura and kev. Ha ha we all wanted to rent bikes and bike down the main road, bike rentals cost us 5$ each for the day. One place across from us wanted to keep our passports and we said no and went elsewhere . We biked 12 km all way to manzanillo and stopped there to check out the beach and grab some food. We were going to eat at maxi's where everyone said is awesome but way to expensive. So we ate at a smaller place and much cheaper . Chicken burger and a fruit drink each ha ha. I was hungry. The bike back we sweated like crazy, it's hot out too , like 30 at least. My flip flops are distroyed and kept coming off. So I biked barefoot . Good enough , our feet were super dirty but it goes with traveling , locals smile at you as you bike pass them or next to them. Police wave and foreigners like us , do a what's up head shake . So all in all o think it tool 1 h half of biking 24 km. I was very happy to see signs for cocles beach , cause you know your only 5-10 min away. I drank like 3 bottles of water. Right when we got back to casa verde we jumped in the pool , which was quite refreshing . Then I reserved another night here for tomorrow. I was going to go stay in manzanillo but it's small and I think it's better just to visit there for a day. The beaches close to here are uglier than if you go farther but the rip tide is alot stronger too . O just booked a tour for tomorrow to go to cahiita snorkeling which will be cool. It's at 8 am and the next day I'll walk to the jaguar reserve and check it out and maybe take a cab to manzanillo and chill for half a day. It's more convienant being in puerto vierjo i find, there's more shops and restaurants and a bank if I need money before I go back to San Jose. A cab to manzanillo is only like 8-12$ if I wanted to go. The cabanas here are decent, the bed is hard and it's shared bathroom, but there's free coffee all day and a pool abf a nice lounge area in the front. The staff is really nice and there's 24 hour security . I found lizards and frogs and tons of huge blue crabs all over. Pretty cool .
