Business class was amazing! The service, the food, the comfort, the priority to board and disembark, all totally amazing.

We departed Melbourne at 12:30am on Monday 2 June, and landed in Hanoi Vietnam about 10 hours later. The flight was a little bumpy and I didn't get a lot of sleep. However, the food was spectacular, served with a tablecloth, real cutlery, crockery and glasses!

As we boarded for the second leg, I wasn't feeling all that great and began to wonder how I was going to manage the next 13 hour flight. After our meal (appetizer, main and dessert), a movie and a little snooze I realised I had a headache. So some panadol and a sleep later (love the business class flatbed), I felt much better and the time flew by.

We landed in London about 15 minutes later than scheduled but I was off the plane quickly, through customs e-gate super quick and my luggage was waiting for me by the time I reached the carousel, all in about 35 minutes. I finalised my e-Sim activation and then was off to the tube heading to Kew Gardens.

I grabbed a bite to eat at a pizzeria in Kew Gardens station area, then wandered down the road to meet Kelly and Will at their dance lesson.

I am grateful for living in the moment and enjoyed every part of my journey to London. Looking forward to the days and weeks ahead.
