We started the day with a 5 hour coach journey past yellow fields of mustard and red fields of chillis into the desert to the oasis point where we met our camels! Such an amazing sight to see them all coming over the dunes, some were decorated with necklaces and bells, and all had massive piles of blankets and grass strapped to the humps ready for us to board! After a long 12 hour train journey, where we slept surprisingly well, we finally arrived in Jodphur. We were shocked by how desert-like the land was, so barren and dry. When we got to the station the porters carried all our luggage on their heads!
