Visited a geo thermal park today on route to Taupo, lots of craters, gysers and funny coloured steamy lakes was a nice place but smelt abit. Sun was very hot wasnt long before I was cooking ! Next stop was Huka Falls, very impressive, more of a long fast flowing water shoot than a very high falls, very pretty. Currently chilling in Rotorua after a mad morning of white water rafting, Went over what they claim is currently the highest guided raftable waterfall in the world at 7 meters, and yes it was scary and amazing !!! (I had to sit at the front ) To get here we picked up the camper after bit of an epic of getting back to the airport, waiting for our pick up bus and then the rental office was mad busy, so I was getting alittle grumpy ! I have arrived safe and well, flights were so so long, but no delays so thats good. Felt as though I had flown to to the other side of the world.
