I have arrived safe and well, flights were so so long, but no delays so thats good. Felt as though I had flown to to the other side of the world. Met with Carla jane at the airport, so all well so far. No effects from jetlag as yet, which pleases CJ, not been grumpy at all !!!

The Hostel is fine, right in the middle of Auckland so no need for busses. Today we have been for a walk around, done a spot of shopping (spent about 1hr at the till in a sports shop talking with the owner on must see places in NZ, people really friendly), looked at the Marina, harbour bridge and oh ye nearly forgot, JUMPED THE 192M METERS OFF THE AUCKLAND SKYTOWER! AMAZING and scary as hell !!

Tomorrow to stop me getting fed up with the shops were gonna catch the ferry over to Waiheke island for a relaxing day of beaches and wine tasting.

Realised last minute after leaving tinternet cafe that our skyjump ticket allowed us up the tower at night so a dash before it closed and we made it up to the observation deck, then we headed to the harbour for a live band at a packed "irish bar" and a few checky drinks.

Caught the ferry next morn, and chilled on Waiheke, was cold and cloudy when we arrived, but soon burnt my bald head, opps, its ok now tho as I got a daft hat.

Last night in Auckland, then we head off in the Camper !! can't wait ready for the off now, you know me and citys and shops doesnt take me long to get bored, Carla is loving it tho and is shopping every day, but never seems to buy anything.
