hello from wales. glad your feeling better and adventures have resumed. the news report for this week is as follows, we all went into town on sunday evening for the christmas light switch on it was a really good show, with father christmas magically appearing on the roof of macdonalds and then suddenly appearing across the road on eleos and then on the stage. there was a snow machine which covered everyone on the kingsway and left the children with their jaws on the floor. the whole evening finished with the lights being switched on and a fire works display. ffions football team won both games on sunday. josef is going to be a dog in the christmas concert, his barking practice is going well. we're of to a gathering of the clan on friday night, alberts 90th birthday. should be feeling pretty rough for iestyns party in funsters on sat morning. take care of each other, all our love ceri andrew ffion & josef

Claire & Steve
Hi everyone,
We are really enjoying reading all your messages - keep them coming. We are having a great time and I am thankfully so much better, I was floored for 24 hours and what came out wasn't pleasant. It is harder than we thought to get boring bland food - pretty much everything has spices in it! Steve has been a little unwell but is now recovering. He had a full body ayurvedic massage this morning which he enjoyed and is now smelling sweet! Congratulations to Ben on getting a new job; you could always spend some money on a long distance holiday to Oz for example. Mum and Ceri - good news about the trip, spend lots of money and enjoy. Lynsey and Andrew - bad news about the trip, enjoy spending lots of money on the kids! Rich and Claire - we are thinking of you in the countdown to baby day and your upcoming 1st anniversary...big kisses to the bump.
Mum B - keep hanging onto Cyprus....you can't let that slip away - I expect the garden is looking pretty with all the frost. It is very hot here...too hot some days. Happy birthdays to Madison and Lisa - sorry its late.
We are getting on the train later to head towards Goa and then onto Kerala so it will give us a chance to chill out after the last 2 weeks.
One last thing - ease up on the bad language on the message board....the offending words have been edited - there are children reading this (you know who you are!!!!)
Ben & Jax
Hope you're feeling better hon! One piece of news Ben got a job - now where shall we go with all that money!!! One of my managers has just quit work to go travelling too, he's doing the part you're doing from February 2007 for 9 months. Checking into this site rugularly, when I'm sitting here freezing my... toes.... off, thinking of you in somewhat warmer climates! Take care guys, lots of love xxxxxx
Claire & Rich
Hi guys, it is freezing here so you are definitely in the right place! I am tucked away in the warm office while poor old Rich is out in the cold around the farm!! A stray baby pussey cat appeared at our house a few weeks ago and has never left although we have now brought her to the farm (litter trays and new babies wouldn't be a good mix). She has no name so any inspiration you might get from your travels would be grately received. Baby Woolford is due in just 5 weeks now and still continues to kick away pretty much all of the time. I think we are ready for 'its' arrival although we are both getting a bit scared now! We love being able to track your adventure and reading your postcards and look forward to some piccies on the site in the next couple of weeks. Take lots of care of yourselves (hope Claire is feeling better now). Lots of love, Claire & Rich xx
Mum B
Oops! There goes another week! Abit worried about you really to be honest (not like me to worry, hey?)
Hope you've recovered now Claire, I'll bet Steve's down with the lurgy now! We've had some lovely crisp and frosty days here and the frost hasn't melted on the grass all day, but with beautiful sunshine, we're not grumbling. No further progress on the barn or the plastering - still waiting for people to come and do the job. It's so frustrating!! Mark's more than abit fed up because his employer wants him to cancel his holiday to Cyprus at Christmas to finish off the Foden year end work, and at the moment he doesn't see a way to talk them round - depressing isn't it, we've really been looking forward to a bit of R&R.
More next week. Love to you both. Mum, Mark and William
Dad (Wales)
hi Claire and Steve, glad to hear that your enjoying yourselves. Hope Claire is out of bed now and feeling better. Went for an x-ray last week on my knee, still waiting for results. Not been up to much, went to George's 65th suprise B'day saturday night, not sure he can remember it though! Its freezing cold here, expecting snow on friday. Wish you were here i bet! Looking forward to seeing your pictures, and hopefully meeting up with you some time after christmas.Ttake care both of you. lots of love dad x

sorry to hear your not well, but if you do as mum says you should be back to your adventures in no time. not much news here, mums already mentioned our little trip. i'm really looking foward to it, but i don't think andrew and lynsey are so excited about sharing the childcare for 4 days. ffion and josef are getting ready for their christmas concert, as you know ffion is an angel [i found that out via this site] and josef has to be an animal, so ffions dog costume from her first concert will be getting a dusting down. andrew had a go on a bed of nails for children in need this week, just a few marks on his back, no major organs punctured. it's gone really cold and frosty here and the garden is all sparkly and silver.unfortunatly that also means defrosting the car at 7am, the indian heat sounds very appealing at that point dodgy belly and all. hope your feeling better soon, take care of each other, all our love ceri andrew ffion and josef xxx

Dear Claire and Steve. Seen your message about the stomach cramps keep drinking plenty of bottled water, sips at first then larger amounts, keep off the spicy foods for a few days. The news from Swansea is a bit lean except Granny, Ceri and myself have booked to go on a Christmas market trip to Belgium and Holland via the Channel tunnel so we wont get seasick. Will let you know at a later date how we get on and what we buy. My Christmas shopping is not going well I cant get motivated although the light are up in Swansea and Santa arrived last night so I hope to make a start on Tuesday. My Ebay selling is going steadily although your car is still on the drive! I sold the protein powder to a lady from Devon we struck up a nice conversation via email and her daughters were also travelling the world. Well I am off to work now its a lovely sunny but cold and frosty morning in Swansea so I am off to find some gloves and a scarf. Love as always Mum xxx

Hi Guys
The delhi belly aside it sounds like a fantastic place. I wonder how many more times we will be saying that.
Hope all is well so far. Looking forward to the photos.
Winter has arrived here. It's very Frosty, even in sunny Swindon.
In Scotland we have stopped wearing tee shirts and shorts for the year so it must be Winter now.
Take care. I'll remember and not offer curry when you next come up!!!
Pete
Guys its great to here from you both. India was going to take prisoners sooner or later. I was just a little surprised that it was Claire who went down with the Delhi belly first I would have put odds on it being Steve
