Just a quick message to let you all know we are now in Nepal. We will be going on a 2 week trek throughout the Himalayas so probably won't be able to receive any messages until we get back on Xmas day to Kathmandu.
We have also booked a small plane to fly over Everest on Boxing day before we head off to Hong Kong on the 27th Dec. By the way if anyone wants anything sent to them (cheap electrical stuff) let us know as it's very simple from HK. Bye for now. Love Steve & Claire.

great to see you both looking so well. couldn't you afford to go around and see the taj mahal from the front? as you can see from mums message i.'m back from my hols. the children didn't seem to miss me and andrew was only a liitle stressed, although he had coped well with domestic duties. i didn't buy that much chocolate [only about 2 kilos] its lovely have started nibbling away at it already. the christmas markets were really festive and i'm finally getting into the christmas spirit, in fact i even put up the christmas decorations yesterday. the kids helped to decorate the tree and its not leaning too much [yet]. what mum didn't mention was how much we ate and drunk while we were away, i think we managed to have a taste of as many different foods the markets could supply and if it was sweet it had to have extra cream. the children are getting very excited about christmas, concert practice is going well and they've had a dress rehersal. well off to work tonight, yipee! andrew is very excited because he's just got his holiday request and is off all over christmas, don't think he'll be so excited after a week with two very wound up children. all our love ceri andrew ffion and josef xxxx

Dear Claire & Steve, Great to read about all your adventures and the hard time you are having travelling to the north once again, I am sure the sight of Everest will make it all worthwhile. Granny, Ceri and myself have returned safely from our little break to the Continental Christmas markets. It was lovely but quite tiring, we travelled through northern Franch to reach Belgium where our hotel was based, from there we went into Germany for one market and to see a German village in the mountains, and the following day we went to Holland to see another market. I was very good and didn't buy any tat but was sorry I hadn't bought a few things in the market in Aachen Germany as it was much better than the Dutch one which we visited second. Ceri made a few nice purchases especially Belgium chocolate, nearly breaking her arms with the weight but she will tell you about that. Not much going on here my Christmas shopping is progressing well only a few more things to get. Granny wants your address !!!!!! to send you a card I still think she hasn't quite got the idea of travelling. My Ebaying is now at a standstill as someone (not Lynsey she says) has wiped off the portable disc thingy on " my computer" so I am unable to download my photos of potential sales, I will never make my first million at this rate. Thought the 2 photos could have been a beach on Gower, are you really there in India, you need to prove your existence send pics we will recognise ie The Taj Mahal the greatest monument to love ever built or Everest when you see the sunrise over the mountain. I am getting all romantic now so I will sign off Love and miss you Mum xxx

Whoohoo!!!! I'm Rich!!! what can I spend my 50 pounds on?
We are just getting ready to get on the train to Delhi, not looking forward to it much! The train is an express, should be the fastest in India although it still takes a whopping 42 hours - please just try and picture the state of the toilets by the end of the journey (Steve has taken Immodium so he doesn't have to use the loo for the next 2 days)!!!!! You can actually see the train tracks beneath you as you stoop over the hole....lovely!
We have had a great time in India and met some fab people but feel ready to move on to pastures new. As we set off on the last leg of our journey through India we know that we will come back here one day to see different parts of the country. Goodbye for now and wish us well for the arduous journey ahead - a perfect opportunity to beat Steve at cards I think although he has now officially entered the strange world of Sudoku!

Hiya both,
Here's the weekly message from Mum. Great to see all the photos, love the beard Steve, how long will Claire put up with it this time? I see you're wearing your Great South Run teeshire Claire, have you just been for a training run? All well here (apart from Mark and Will's have come out in sympathy with you Claire, spent most of the weekend in the loo!). Lovely - no sleep at all for me on Saturday night dodging back and forth to both of them! Better today though. Three weeks and counting, looks as though we will be going on holiday, yippee!
Chris and Lisa took the boys to Warwick Castle at the weekend, Hayden did some ice skating evidently. Can't wait for more photos from you. Love you both. Mum B

Hi Steve & Claire,
Hope you both are comfortable with the stay and arrangements in Cochin. I had reached my school yesterday and told my wife and kids about your adventurous world tour. I wish you both the very best and pray God to keep you safe through out your exploring the world. Definitely this will strengthen you bond and fortify your mutual love.
Love and Prayers from Benny, Lali, Aswin and Alka
