great to finally see pictures [even if it is only two out of the hundreds you've probably taken]. you both look well and the kids enjoyed copying your poses, although they did comment that steve was doing the pose claire should have been doing! andrew did think pictures of goa would have been better than pictures of gower. now for your weekly update on life in the daniel house, the snow has finally thawed, it was on the ground fordays, to be replaced by the usual welsh rain. the christmas markets have arrived in swansea, so we took the children in and all tried lots of different foods, german sausage, danish pancakes [a big hit] and gingerbread. my art classes are going well and i might even be brave enough to exhibit something in the local art show next week. we're off to buy a christmas tree this afternoon, yes a real one. there's a farm in tree crosses who grow and cut them fresh and they've also had some baby lambs born so the kids can visit them as well. have to go now ffion's got a roller disco and i've got to pack for my little break next week. all our love ceri andrew ffion and josef xxxx

Hi both
Just caught up with all the tales, it sounds a fab experience you'r having. Hope you are both well and no more tummy upsets! Sounds as if you are going to have a large silver collection by the time you get back. It's cold here so think of us while you'r laying on the beach! Work is just the same Claire, Kay is leaving on the 23rd of December to start her new job in January and Liz is leaving on the 20th, lots of changes! Take care both and keep having fun!

Stop Press! We've had 2 inches of snow! Just had a quick snowball fight in the back garden with Will before bedtime. XX

Hiya you two! So sorry we missed your phone call yesterday - had to visit the in-laws in Chepstow after William's rugby matches in Chippenham on Sunday morning. He was captain again this week. Unfortunately, they only won one game out of three. Still, he scored a few try's, and was pleased to see some of his old school mates from Hullavington School. Mark was away in Holland for most of last week and didn't get home until Saturday night. At least he brought a few nice bottles of plonk home. I've just had a call from him (he's in Sandbach tonight and tomorrow night) and he says they've got about 4 inches of snow at the moment and it's still falling. We've had a few snow flurries this afternoon but nothing is pitching yet. We're still having the battle of the Cyprus trip. Mark's boss has offered him the cost of his flight if he'll cancel the trip - he said what about the wife and boy? No answer so far! Cheeky beggars! School nativity and Christmas bazaar in the next couple of weeks. Must practice my manners and most intelligent face in case Mr Beltrami decides to pounce on us! Love to you both - send us back some warm sunshine please. Mum B

Hello both,
We had to go down to Swansea at the weekend and almost crashed the car in the snow on Thursday evening. It was absolutely freezing! Sounds like you're both having fun and it sounds like it's a hell of a lot warmer over there. Still, it does feel very Christmassy
Lots of love

Hey hey!
Looks like you are you are up and running...although clearly one of you maybe running more than the other!! Anyhow great to know all is well and you are safe and sound..seems like you are already making the most of your time and getting amongst it.
All is well this end, Sinead says hello and is all excited about your trip. Is that really Pete that left a message...? We are heading out in a few weeks in Bristol for a Christmas get together...the usual bunch...will be good but obviously wont be the same without you but we can rest in the comfort that you will be enjoying yourselves in some exotic location nonetheless.
How the time has gone since you left...so only 1year 11months and 2weeks left so make sure you carry on enjoying it!
Catcha later.....

I can't believe its snowing!!!! Especially when I look outside from where I am sitting and see glorious sunshine and feel the warmth flooding in....it's obviously very tough in this sort of environment but we are coping remarkably well! As you might have guessed we have reached Goa - it is lovely, very laid back with friendly locals shouting "ello guvnor" before trying to sell the usual beach attire.
I hope you all have lots of fun in the early falling of snow...maybe you will have a white christmas and be snowed in enough not to have to work and can then stuff your faces with turkey, mince pies and sherry. Hang on, that sounds quite good - we'll be on the next plane home!
Lynsey - I am so glad that you are hanging on with the wedding plans, we wouldn't want you to rush into anything! I have seen some particularly nice fairy lights hanging off the guest house next to ours which I can bring back with me for the special day. The home gym must be pretty packed by now but I will take your word for it that you will have buns of steel by the time we see you next - either that or we will keep our eyes peeled on ebay for when mum sells it all!
Lots of love to everyone back in the UK

..i forgot to say, a new addition to the home gym (that's never used) arrived today. i'm the proud owner of a Lateral Thigh Trainer (as seen on tv). So next time you see me, i'll have buns of steel and thighs to die for. i'm going to start on monday, and i mean it this time! love you both xxx

hiya, glad to hear your feeling better, although i don't think drinking whiskey is going to help you too much! The wedding proposals have been flying in, but i'm keeping my promise of not getting married til you get back! The fish are still alive, even your 'special' one. not been up to anything exciting, I went down to play in the snow with the kids after work today which was fun! I've got them sleeping over tonight which won't be as much fun. Gethin has a daughter, she was born earlier this week, i didn't have to pimp too hard to find that out as they've decorated the front of the house! Granny said she would write a letter this week, so i'll email it to you as soon as she does. Have a fab time in Goa, i'm sure you won't have to try too hard. I'll catch up with you both soon.
keep yourselves safe, lots of love lynsey xx

Hi guys, sorry to hear you weren't well Claire and hope yopu're feeling much better now. Well it's been snowing here, as you probably already know! Got all excited this morning hoping that the roads would be too bad to drive to work...............unfortunately NOT!!! Think I'd rather be in a crowded, smelly railway station myself, ah well, dream on. Bye for now, look after yourselves xx

IT'S SNOWWWWWWWWWIIIIINNNNGGGGGG
Woke up this morning opened ffions curtains to find a couple of inches of snow had fallen overnight
so guess who was out playing snowballs at 7:30 this morning, joe was in overdrive desperate to get outside (apparently not deterred by a lack of socks and shoes), but the bad news is school is still open at the moment......
More snow forcast for this afternoon so hopefully they`ll close the school and snowman building can commence
we`ll keep you updated on the snowwatch

Hiya, we are sitting in a very hot cyber cafe in Mumbai whilst waiting for our connecting train to Goa at 11pm. The railway stations are an experience in themselves...very smelly and very crowded! Really looking forward to getting to the beach tomorrow. We will make it our mission to find an internet cafe with a good connection so we can download the 400 photos we have taken already!
Take care back home. Keep the barking practice up Jo and keep winning the football matches Ffion!
