Hello!
After a very long journey we finally made it to Lima in Peru. After a few plane delays it took us door to door about 29 hours to get here.
Our first impressions of Lima on leaving the airport was that its a giant taxi rank as 70% of the cars we saw were taxi´s. As you would expect from a)any taxi driver b) a taxi driver from a foreign country is that they´re all mad. To them red lights don´t always mean stop and lane markings and zebra crossings are only there to make the road look pretty. Still he got us to our hotel (after asking a few locals on the way and us eventually showing him the address).
Not a great deal to do in Lima which for us was good as we were both knackered from the flights. Had a quick walk around the suburbs yesterday and are heading into the main town today. Lots of cool stuff coming up though so looking forward to that.
Thats it for now, Aidos!
